About Particle Technology Labs
PTL is a proven cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) compliant laboratory, in accordance with 21 CFR, Part 210 and 211. Our facility is FDA registered and inspected, and has never received an FDA Form 483. We host over 30 audits per year from the world's largest pharmaceutical companies and have not yet received an unacceptable citation. PTL is DEA licensed and approved to handle Schedule II through V Controlled Substances, and we also hold an ATF permit for analyzing pyrotechnics. Our laboratory contains a large number of instruments from many of the leading major manufacturers, keeping both on the cutting edge of particle technology while staying in command of the time-tested and classical methodologies of particle characterization. This gives us the capability to measure many different physical characteristics, including: Particle Size Distribution
Particle Size and Shape / Image Analysis
BET Specific Surface Area
Pore Size Distribution / Porosity
True Density / Bulk Density / Tap Density
Powder Flowability / Powder Rheology
Thermal Analysis / TGA / DSC
